Exhibitions
I have had work exhibited at four exhibitions with 'Jan's People' in Stockbridge, Hampshire, and with 'Art 14', in Winchester Guildhall.
I have had work accepted for exhibition at Southampton City Art Gallery through their Biennale Competitions in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010.
My painting 'Winchester Hill Track II' was awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Patchings national competition (2009) and this year
I have just heard that 'Flora - Rhapsody in Blue' has received a similar commendation.
22 March 2009 - A joint exhibition with a fellow artist, Frinny Farthing, in Chandlers Ford. My son Peter and husband Roy helped put together a computer animation of the hall with stands and pictures in place, which can be seen below. The exhibition was well attended and extremely successful.
July/August 2009. with Art 14 at Mottisfont Abbey, a National Trust property in Hampshire.
September 2009, with ArtSeen, at Mottisfont Abbey.
November 2009 - A Grand Tour of Village Halls commenced with a Wine Tasting and Art Exhibition, a joint venture between Heatons of Romsey, and ArtSeen. This took place in Lockerley Village Hall, a beautiful and picturesque village just outside Romsey in Hampshire. A most succesful, if just a tad damp (!) day!
Feb/March 2010 at HIGHCLIFFE CASTLE, Dorset. Entitled 'Imagine - A Kaleidoscope of Earth, Sea and Sky', with ArtSeen.
May 2010 - An exhibition of members' work at Mottisfont Abbey with Chandlers Ford Art Group.
June/July 2010 - for three weeks, with ArtSeen at their second exhibition at Mottisfont.
July 2010 - for two weeks, with Art14. Our third year at Mottisfont.
UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS:
August 16th - 22nd 2010. Chandlers Ford Art Group's Summer Exhibition in the Masonic Hall, behind the Kings Court Restaurant in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. A display of various media and subjects and a very warm welcome to all visitors.
